When I first moved to Michigan a little over a year ago, one of the first things I did was to try and find out what resources there were for Joshua, who has Aspergers and ADHD. One of the first places that I was told to go was the Friendship Circle. I had no idea the impact that Friendship Circle would have on my family. Not only was Joshua able to participate in a sports league - floor hockey and basketball - but he also made friends at bowling. Friendship Circle's influence was not limited to Joshua. Rose participates in a "sibs" program that has been extremely rewarding for her. Alan and I have made friends through their Mom's and Dad's nights. All in all, Friendship Circle has been immensely important to our family.
