Welcome to Renee Tighe's Page
Renee Tighe
Our family joined Friendship Circle in 2009. Each week, Noah arrives at Friendship Circle to meet his amazing teenage volunteer for an hour of fun. Together, they participate in one or many of Friendship Circle’s 30 weekly and seasonal programs such as sports, music, art and more.
Noah is currently a member of the Friendship Circle Miracle League, a competitive baseball league for children with disabilities. He has never participated in an organized sport before Miracle League and loves to play baseball among his friends and volunteers. Noah is also participating in Friendship Circle’s Social Skills Camp, their Sunday afternoon program, and Efshar Circle (their religious school). Every kid deserves to play baseball and go to summer camp. The fact that Friendship Circle provides these memorable opportunities for Noah is simply priceless.
Noah is not the only person in our family to benefit from Friendship Circle’s programs. Hannah is now one of the teenage (well, tween) volunteers! She has been volunteering each Tuesday all year long, working with a child. She loved it so much that she added volunteering at the Sunday program too. And she will be a volunteer each day for three weeks at their summer camp.
As you can see, we are now immersed in a community of fellow parents, volunteers and staff that truly understand our life and provide a precious support system.
This year we are “paying it forward” by raising funds for Friendship Circle’s annual fundraiser, Walk4Friendship. Please know that 100% of the funds raised for Walk4Friendship support families like ours, who benefit so deeply from this precious community.
From the bottom of our hearts…Thank you for your generosity!
Love,
Renee, Pat, Hannah and Noah
